Camps for children Age 2yrs-16yr
Pony Play Camp
The idea of is camp is for children to have fun and to learn to be comfortable around horses. The children enjoy a number of activities including a mini horseback riding lesson, grooming, dressing up the ponies, walking the horses and the obstacle course. They also play games with the ponies and get to feed the horse. We learn how to walk and trot thru the obstacle course, 30-minutes riding lesson in small group.
This camp is only $40 per child.
After school Riding Pony/Horse Club
Afters school riding Pony/Horse Club is It's a 90 minutes camp, which takes place every week. We run classes on Tuesay or Thursday at 5.30pm. The children all have a horse and a miniature horse to look after.
Activities learned include: 25 minutes Riding lesson, grooming, walking, obstacle course, and carriage riding. The children also get the chance to learn about: Tacking up, horse teeth, trimming horse feet, bathing, horsemanship skills, barn work. Ground jumping ponies.
This camp is only $40 per class.
Summer Camps
Summer camps are for anyone who loves horses and wants to learn more about horsemanship and riding. No horse experience is required.
Time: 9-1pm
Cost: $100
What to bring: Extra clothes, bathing suit (or clothes to get wet in), sack lunch and a water bottle.
At the camps, the campers will groom and tack up the horse. Then they will ride and learn the basic skills to steer and trot a horse. If the rider has more experience, then we will do more.
After they ride, they will un-tack the horse and hose them off. Depending on the group of campers we will either paint and dress up the horses or not.
We will have a snack break then work with the minis in the obstacle course. If there is time, we will do a carriage ride too.
After lunch, we will play with the water slide and water balloons to help cool off.
Pony Birthday Party
Pony birthday parties are the best party for any child!!
Package 1: $250
Time: 1 1/2hrs
Max number of children: 8
Package 2: $325
Time: 2hrs
Max number of children: 12
Each package will have 2 ponies to ride for the children and 2 handlers. The party will consist of painting, brushing, and taking photos with the ponies. Each package will have 30-45 mins for food, cake and gifts.
The parent of the birthday child will be responsible for the cake, food or snakes and any birthday decorations you would like to use. We will provide the table and chairs.
A $50 non refundable deposit will be required to hold your date. If you would like a unicorn or flower headband, they will need to be paid for in advanced.
